Allagash to Acadia Art Exhibit at PWA

Debbie Palmer is showcasing her paintings at the Pemaquid Watershed Association (PWA) office gallery in downtown Damariscotta until August 14. The Association invites the public to a reception for Palmer from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Friday, July 17. Palmer is nationally known for her unique style of oil painting on wood. Her exhibit, “Allagash to Acadia”, immerses the viewer in a rustic and often nostalgic sense of experiencing nature. The marriage of the wood and oil bring a feeling of solid, textured dimension. She finds inspiration in her natural surroundings, from coastal Maine to the Allagash Waterway, and her love for her family. To view the exhibit, visit the Association’s office from 9:30-4:30 weekdays, located at 15 Courtyard Street, above Salt Bay Café in downtown Damariscotta. Palmer will donate 35% of sales to support the PWA mission of conserving the natural resources of the Pemaquid Peninsula.
